How to add a player

Player entries tie your scorebook to career stats. In the Cricko mobile app, open the match you are scoring (or the team / squad screen before the toss), then find the lineup or squad area and add the player’s name. Where the app supports it, pick an existing profile so innings add to the same career record over time.

  1. Open Cricko and go to your live or upcoming match.
  2. Open the playing XI, squad, or “add player” action (wording varies by screen).
  3. Enter the name or search for a profile; save so the player appears before they face a ball or bowl.

For substitutes or late arrivals, add them before they bat or bowl so dismissals and bowling analyses stay valid. If your league uses registered lists, mirror those names exactly to avoid duplicate profiles.

Your account, stats, and profile

Players sign up with an email address (available worldwide) or, in India, with a mobile number. Cricko uses that email or phone as your identity so your player profile and match statistics stay linked — when you log in with the same email or mobile, you see your own record. Mobile OTP sign-up is currently limited to Indian numbers; everyone else should use email.

Web and app flows may differ slightly by version — if a button has moved, check the latest build notes in the store listing or email cricko.scoring@gmail.com for support or any other queries.
